Goshen Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies

Every year, the Goshen community comes together to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our county.

The Goshen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 985 and the American Legion are hosting this year’s Memorial Day Parade and Events on Monday, May 29. The local Association of Disabled American Veterans also supports the event.

Schedule:

8:45am: The Memorial Day events will start with a service at the Rogers Park footbridge, 102 Chicago Avenue

9am: From there, the group will host another brief service at the War Memorial on the east side of the County Courthouse in downtown Goshen., 101 N. Main St.

9:30am: The Memorial Day parade participants will gather at the Goshen Police & Courts Building., 111 E. Jefferson.

10:15am: The parade will go down Goshen's Main Street and end at Oakridge Cemetery., 427 N 1st St.

11am: At Oakridge Cemetery, the hosts will complete the event with a ceremony, including the placement of wreaths and guest speakers.
