Haubstadt Sommerfest

The Haubstadt Sommerfest is your ultimate weekend destination! Whether its our community parade, Laufenfest 5K race, or Southern Indiana's Finest Bierstube, festival-goers always have a fantastic experience in the Busch Light Capital of the World!

Parade

Local merchants, volunteers, charitable organizations and more have a chance to show off their creativity each year at the annual parade. If you’re just expecting fire engines and farm equipment, you’re in for a big surprise. Starting early Saturday morning, the side streets start to fill with antique tractors, big trucks hauling trailers of people, and clowns in colorful get-up.

In addition to loads of candy, you can count on seeing wacky entries from the guys at SR Meny Heating, Air, and Plumbing, the Hadi Shriners, and multiple entries from Dewig Meats. Chances are, you may even end up with a can cooler from the Nub Cut.

    6:00 AM – Laufenfest Race Registration
    8:00 AM – Lil’ Dutch Run
    8:20 AM – 5K Run
    8:25 AM – 5k Walk
    Noon – Laufenfest Bierstube Ends

    1:00 PM – Parade (no route change this year)
    5:00 PM – Rides, Food Booths Open (Post-Parade – Some Rides / Food Booths Open)
    7:00 PM – Bierstube Opens
    8:00 PM – Main Stage – That’s What She Said
    Midnight – Bierstube Closes
