Shipshewana MayFest

Each year we are excited to kick-off our spring season with a Mayfest celebration in Shipshewana. Locals and visitors alike join in for some good ole’ fashioned hometown fun! Downtown will be bustling with activities like band & choir concerts, kid’s activities, live entertainment, softball tournaments, food trucks, benefit breakfast and much more!  The Grand Mayfest parade on Saturday morning will kick things off for the day.

Some of the food vendors for 2024 include: JBONZ, Hilty’s Backwood Wings, Kings BBQ, Five Star Frappe, Kukui’s, Otto’s Elephant Ears, Shipshewana Lake Assoc., Marion Christian Fellowship, Jo’s Vintage Coffee, Secret Recipe, Nelson’s, Smothered & Covered Fries, El Burro Loco, Randy Mullett Popcorn and S & R Concessions.

Begins with a pancake & sausage breakfast and bake sale at 7:00 am.  A kid’s fun run and 5K run will begin at 8:00 am with the parade at 10:00 am.

There will be a variety of activities throughout the day, including a K-9 demo at 1:00 pm at the Town Park.  The evening ends with Lonesome Road Bluegrass playing from 7:00-8:00 pm
