Course Length: 5mile and 10mile (2, 5mile laps)

Course Difficulty: Hills 3 / Surface: 2 (1=easy, 5=difficult)

Event Schedule:

1:00 pm: Check-in Open

1:50 pm: Eclipse begins (C1)

3:05 pm: Totality begins (C2)

3:09 pm: Totality ends

3:10 pm: Participants may start

3:40 pm: All participants must be started

4:45 pm: Awards for 5-mile

5:00 pm: Awards for 10-mile

Price: 

5mile- $40.00 through Feb 8th/ $55.00 through March 8th

10mile-$50 through Feb 8th/ $65.00 through March 8th

Optional event T-Shirt for $15.00 if ordered by March 28th.

The starting line will be in an open area where you can watch the eclipse happen. The starting horn will blow at 3:10 pm, just after the sun begins to be visible again. Runners may start immediately, or may wait up to 30 minutes to watch the eclipse emerge before starting. The race will be chip timed (elapsed start-to-finish) and results/awards will use this elapsed time. 

Awards

Overall top three in each distance will awards.

Runners beyond these top spots, who place top three in any age category, will also receive awards.

Door prizes will be presented at random at the award ceremony.
