Cool Creek Park is one of Hamilton County's most popular parks, as it offers a wide variety of features and activities. Members of the entire family are sure to enjoy this beautiful 90-acre park year round. The park includes four miles of wooded trails, perfect for hiking, jogging and bird watching. Scenic paved roads wind through the park, ideal for cyclists and roller bladers. Looking for even more activities? Check out the playground, softball diamonds, soccer fields, or basketball court. For something slower paced, enjoy our nature trails, wetlands, prairies and benches along the trails, installed by Eagle Scouts.

This park is also home to the Cool Creek Nature Center, where families, school groups and nature lovers can explore the science of Indiana woodlands and learn about the importance of preserving plants and animals in their natural habitats. Together, the park and Nature Center provide a variety of programs throughout the year, including programs for children, bird watchers, animal lovers and volunteers.

Cool Creek Park offers a number of events throughout the year, but is most famous for its Nature Programs and Cool Creek Concert Series, held annually in the summer at the Cool Creek Music Pavilion. The concert series promises a full line-up of music under the stars.

Great playground for younger and older kids. Swings, too. Nature Center looked very interesting but was closed. Bathrooms between the nature center and playground were open anyway, thank goodness. And there's a paved walkway from the nature center parking lot/bathrooms to the playground with hopscotch and educational signs along the way. Lots more to see and do. That we didn't get to.

Pretty cool place. Lots of things to do and see. Including a nice playground as well as a really nice Nature Center with the bird sanctuary and other things to see. Lots of turtles and of course the best thing is hidden inside the greenhouse which we will have to see if you want to know what it is. Trails are well kept and plenty of space for everybody.

The Nature Center is a must-see! Children of all ages love this place. Between the animals inside, observation deck to watch the animals outside, the museum like facts everywhere.. I am really not sure which one my family loves the most!

Great place to do some running or walking! The loop is about 1 mile and has great hills for an awesome workout! The trail is well maintained and beautiful year-round!
