Located in the heart of Jasper, Indiana the Dubois County Museum traces the region's rich history from the Ice Age through the present.Discover why the area's forests, together with the hard work and ingenuity of this county's largely Scots-Irish and German settlers, resulted in good fortune that continues to this day.Walk through the story of Dubois County's strong farming tradition as told by the Museum's large collection of 19th and early 20th century agricultural tools and machinery.

Experience typical southern Indiana rural life of the late 1800's and early 1900's through the restoration of a two pen log house built by German immigrants.  Explore artifacts, traditions and cultures of the county's communities through numerous changing exhibits and special programs.

Such a wonderful place to visit for young and old. We took about 2hrs and still didn't see it all. Can't wait to go back.

It is a very nice museum it is a lot larger than it looks has a neat train set and a history on moonshine
