This is a really cool museum. The house is very historic and the steamboat replicas are pretty amazing as well. It's a fair price and we had a good experience here.

This landmark museum is a must see for anyone who happens to be visiting out little river town! There is plenty of information posted to give a rich, detailed story of how Jeffersonville was "Born" and how we became a hub and builder for and of barges. Visit during the Chataqua festival for a chance to buy goods from many of our local vendors! It's a beautiful museum, very worth stopping by and taking a tour!

There was a lot of interesting things to see and read. Take the self guided tour not the free guided one.
