History:
InterAction Theater programs began in 1992, with a grant for HIV/AIDS education through the Monroe County Jail, submitted by Nurse DeeDee Foster. Diane Kondrat and Nell Weatherwax developed the programs, with Weatherwax taking administrative command of the project.

Kondrat became Executive Director when InterAction Theater, Inc. incorporated in May, 1988. The company was granted probationary not-for-profit status in December, 1998.

InterAction Theater, Inc. travels throughout the Midwest region and now has ten years of experience with audiences ranging from adult prison populations to church groups.

We no longer focus solely on HIV/AIDS education. Relationship violence, child abuse, sexual harrassment, senior citizen living issues, women to women health issues, character development, and sexual responsiblity are all topics on which we present.

We are constantly developing new scripts to serve our clients.
