About Us:

As one of the largest roofed amphitheatres in the nation, Lincoln Amphitheatre is a majestic 1,500-seat outdoor venue located in the very woods Abraham Lincoln walked as a boy. From the time he was 7 until he was 21, Lincoln lived and learned in what is now Lincoln City, Indiana.

It's a new day at the Lincoln Amphitheatre as the Indiana Office of Tourism Development and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources have worked together to re-structure the level of state engagement and management of the facility.  2016 promises to be a pivotal year in the Lincoln Amphitheatre's history and will include one of the most diverse performance series in the venue's history.

We saw the play Young Abe Lincoln. Very good. If the actors had been more to his character rather than to make a great play I would've given it 5 stars. But all in all a great play

Very lovely experience. Great concession options. It gets hot under the awning, but still a nice way to spend a summer evening.
