Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located within the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, offers hiking on the beautiful Miller Woods Trail and outstanding educational programs. The easy Miller Woods Trail winds around a lovely wetland and through Miller Woods. Features of the 1.5-mile trail include wetlands and black oak savanna. The trail is also great for cross-country skiing in the winter. The building is open for scheduled groups.
