Our family had a blast here!! Worth every penny to get in. The people who interact with the kids and explain exhibits are so impressive. We arrived early and didn't make it completely through, so definitely keep that in mind when planning a visit. The only negative was the fact that the photos we took at some of the exhibits never came to my email or the grandparents email. Fingers crossed they fixed the glitch because we really enjoyed that feature and know the grandparents would've been delighted with the photos as well.

This was my first visit to the Children’s Museum and a memorable one at that. Purchasing tickets online is definitely the way to go and parking on a Friday was plenty and easy to access. I particularly enjoyed the dinosaur, pop culture, and science exhibits but there’s something for everyone on every level. There’s a new sports themed outdoor exhibit and looks to be every bit as interactive as the in-building ones. Prices at the museum store were reasonable and it’s easy to get immersed looking at the huge selection of merchandise. Traffic on Illinois St can get backed up so plan accordingly.

This is the perfect place to spend with your family. Here children can learn and play as much as they want. There are many fascinating exhibit and sometimes there's special events that you could see. You will welcomed by giant dinosaurs and Bumblebee awaits you in the lobby. I really like to watch the movie inside their outer space theatre. There's also a playground for different age group, so younger kids can play safely too. They also have comfortable nursing room and family restroom.

There is a reason the Indianapolis Children's Museum is consistently rated among the best in the country. It's clean, has great interactive exhibits, and is worth the price of admission. Parking is free, but get there early on weekends because it can get crowded. Also, check their website before going because some exhibits rotate after a few months. It isn't cheap, $25 a person for adults and about $20 for kids on weekends. Buying online can save you money, or going during the week when prices are lower. There is a huge dinosaur exhibit, an old time carousel, science and nature exhibits, etc. Also, opening this spring is a major sports exhibit featuring basketball goals, a football field, a small hockey rink, etc. The food options are good but also pricey, so perhaps eat before or after visiting.

What can I say about the world's LARGEST children's museum? That it is also THE. BEST! I live in Indy and have 5 kids, ages 16 through 2y.o. twins and they LOVE this museum!( We are longtime members.) I would recommend planning 2 or even 3 days here if you are visiting from out of town. There is a TON to see and do!! And with the Sports Legends outside sports park opening by the beginning of April, there will be even MORE to do! I personally have been coming since I was about 8 or 9, and I STILL find things EVERY trip that interest me! Do yourself and your children a favor and come visit The Children's Museum of Indianapolis!
