After falling in love with refinishing furniture with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, the only direction to take, was to open a retail shop (Sandpaper) to bring such a wonderful product to Northwest Indiana. One of the ways to promote the business was to rent booths at Vendor Markets.
After meeting so many wonderful artists, shop owners, small business owners, etc, it was realized the area needed a market to focus on what the customers (the vendors) needed.
The current mission of the 3 Little Birds Market is to promote the small boutique businesses, listen to their needs, and actually learn from each market held to make the next one better. If a suggestion is made, it definitely will be considered.
While Sandpaper was handed off to a wonderful, new owner, 3 Little Birds Market is going strong and evolving to reach out to all artistic shops and small businesses in The Region.
3 Little Birds Market supports artisan, local boutique, hand-made, up-cycled small businesses by hosting Vendor Markets 2-3 times a year.
